EXPERIENCE THE WORLD – TRAVEL WITH YOUR HEART!
JOIN TANZANIA, SOUTH AFRICA AND JORDAN

The program is largely structured around two longer study tours. In October/November you will travel for four weeks to Tanzania/South Africa and in February you will visit the Middle East.

Tanzania
In the village of Ilula you will have strong human encounters and there you will meet the school's Stop Poverty partner. Then you will also have a completely unique encounter with a Masai village and you will cook over a fire together with an extended family outside their thatched hut. On safari in Mikumi you will get scary close to lions and elephants and at Bongoyo you will get to swim on chalky white beaches in azure blue sea.

South Africa
In South Africa you will follow in the footsteps of Nelson Mandela. You will visit Soweto, Pietermaritzburg, Durban and Cape Town. You will learn about the challenges South Africa has after Apartheid, but there will also be time for more. If you want, you can try out the Big Rush Rope Swing in Durban, surf in the Indian Ocean and experience your first skydive.

Middle East/Jordan
Here you will visit the school's Palestinian friends and partners. This way you will gain first-hand knowledge of what is happening in Gaza and the West Bank. In Jordan you will also visit the ancient city of Petra, swim in the Dead Sea, ride a camel, hike with Bedouins and maybe even sleep under the open sky in the desert.

Sunnmøre
At home in Norway you get the best of Sunnmøre. Then there will be plenty of time for skiing, surfing, kayaking, climbing, cave walking and much more. You will spend the night in a cabin, hammock and lavvo. So you should like being outdoors.

Insight
In short: This will be a year where you will be traveling a lot. Yet perhaps the most important journey is within yourself.
